With his insisent references to Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne, President Obama might be a fan of hip hop, but it in an off-the-record remark made to CNBC, he clearly has no plans to add Kanye West to his list.
According to reports, ABC’s Terry Moran tweeted Monday night about an off-the-record interview the President had with members of the press core. In a portion of that interview, Obama allegedly called Kanye West ‘a jackass’. The audio and video of the excerpt are directly beneath.
Subsequently, Moran tweeted the following:
"Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential,”
Morans’ tweet has since been pulled and ABC has apologized for the incident.
Kanye West has posted a blog entry apologizing to Taylor Swift and her mother regarding his actions on Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. What do you think? Does Kanye deserve the backlash he’s receiving?
